90年代始め、硬派ストリート系の語り口で人気を集めたレゲエディージェイ。
一聴してわかる野太い声が特徴的で、ビートにきっちりコトバを刻み込む歯切れの良いダンスホールを展開。地元ジャマイカで数々のヒットを放ち、90年にリリースされたアルバム「The Stopper」はイギリスでも好評を博した。
11歳のときにローカルサウンドシステムGeminiでレゲエアーティストとしてのキャリアをスタート。
その後、肉屋で働きながら、Tony Rebel のレーベル Tone and Papa Rootsで活動後、KillamanjaroやStereo Mars、Arrows and Metro Mediaといった人気サウンドシステムでマイクを握るようになる。
Winston RileyのTechniquesから発表した「Gun Man Lylics」で初録音を果たした。その後も「Out of Hand」や「Fishman Lyrics」などを録音。
マイアミのSkengdonでも複数の作品を残し、Little Twitchと一緒に活動、Super CatやNicodemusといった大物ディージェイの下で順調にキャリアを重ねた。
90年代に入ると、Patrick RobertsのレーベルShocking Vibesからの「The Bomber」のヒットを皮切りに主に Donovan GermainのPenthouseから「Pon Mi Nozzle」等多数のヒットを飛ばした彼の活動の場はジャマイカ国内に留まらなくなった。
1991年、ロンドンのFashionから発表した「The Stopper」はHIP HOPのリミックス版も制作され、どちらも国際的なヒットとなり「Limb By Limb」「The Cutter」のジャングル・ヴァージョンはイギリスの人々を熱狂させた。
Shabba RanksやSuper Catといったアーティスト同様、クロスオーヴァーな成功を収めた。90年代後半以降、活動の機会が減ってしまったが現在でも不定期ながらイギリス等で録音を続けている。
